With the Avengers: Infinity War premiere behind us, we dive into our list of the top 5 best MCU films in the current line-up! Did your favorite Marvel movie make this list? Below we have ranked the films and have given you the IMDB summary of the movie.

#5 – Spider-Man: Homecoming (2017)

Spiderman Home.jpgPeter Parker balances his life as an ordinary high school student in Queens with his superhero alter-ego Spider-Man, and finds himself on the trail of a new menace prowling the skies of New York City.

Personally, this is my favorite Spider-Man movie to ever be made. From a sympathetic villain to a compelling father-son storyline, this movie will have you hooked.

#4 – Guardians of the Galaxy (2014)

Guardians.jpg

A group of intergalactic criminals are forced to work together to stop a fanatical warrior from taking control of the universe.

What more great things can we say about this movie? It’s a hard adaption to bring to life from its comic book origins to the screen, and yet, Marvel somehow managed to make arguably the most popular entry across all age groups.

#3 – Captain America: Civil War (2016)

Civil War.jpgPolitical involvement in the Avengers’ activities causes a rift between Captain America and Iron Man.

This was the MCU entry that introduced us to the crowd favorite, Black Panther, as well as ushering-in a new iteration of Spider-Man. Me and Riley both were on Team Iron Man. What about you?

#2 – Black Panther (2018)

T’Challa, the King of Wakanda, rises to the throne in the isolated, technologically advanced African nation, but his claim is challenged by a vengeful outsider who was a childhood victim of T’Challa’s father’s mistake.

Black PantherAll hail the king! Black Panther not only broke over $200 million dollars its opening weekend, but then continued to break records at every chance it got. It’s a damn good entry into the MCU and had arguably the best villain we had seen up until this point. We can’t wait to see T’Challa in action this upcoming weekend.

#1 – The Avengers (2012)

Avengers.jpgEarth’s mightiest heroes must come together and learn to fight as a team if they are going to stop the mischievous Loki and his alien army from enslaving humanity.

How do you even compete with a powerhouse like this? I will never forget the first time I saw this team fighting together on screen. It was an event for the ages and every time I think of the MCU, I think back to what an incredible achievement this truly was. And you have Loki as the main villain which is always fun to see.

We are close to Avengers: Infinity War, you guys. Try and steer clear of any potential spoilers in comment sections and online. From the initial reactions, it’s going to be a hell of a ride and you wouldn’t want it spoiled for you. The review embargo lifts at 5pm ET today, but unfortunately, you won’t see our review until Friday because we aren’t special.

So how do you feel about our list? Is there another way you would rank them? We have filmed a video for this top 5 list for our YouTube channel that will be up by Wednesday evening; we have also ranked all the movies and will make that exclusive to the $5 dollar tier on our Patreon account around the same time.

Thanks for taking the time to read this; I wanted to make this longer and go in-depth on the franchise but simply don’t have enough time between work and school. Also, I’m in the processing of editing those other videos. Make sure to subscribe to get email notifications when we make a new post or follow us on WordPress reader!
